New York New York (how original)

We flew from LA into New York yesterday and so far the city has not disappointed! After dumping our bags in our hotel near Union Square we headed out for a bite to eat and a few beers and almost immediately stumbled across some amazing bars! We had some amazing cocktails made by a no fuss barman and met some really interesting New Yorkers.

After a slow start in the morning we headed up Broadway to The Empire State Building and the view was breathtaking. We then walked up to Times Square and Broadway. The sheer immensity of the city is mind blowing. It is truely an amazing place and it is very easy to just sit back and watch the hustle and bustle pass you by.  You actually lose track of time as the number of people never seems to change. Even late into the night there are always people going places.

In regards to food, the choices are endless! But the one thing we were really looking forward too was a slice of New York pizza. Again we were not disappointed. We are very much looking forward to the next 4 days here, there seems to be such a buzz about the place, and everywhere you turn there’s something to drink, eat or look at, its fantastic! S & T
