Another walk around for us, but this time the temp was topping 38degrees!!! So more of a slow amble!  Washington DC is a very stately city (Almost bland city centre) and very different from New York.  It all seems very imposing.  T

After walking all day in incredible heat I persuaded Sarah to leave the relative comfort of the shade for a long walk across the park for what I promised was going to be a great view!  Still one of the nicer building sites you will see, the Capitol building clad in scaffolding and the reflecting pool obscured by a JCB.
