Mollymook

We left Tilba Tilba and headed further up the coast to a coastal town called Mollymook. Mollymook had been recommended to us by a friend of mine but if I am going to be really honest it was picked because Rick Stein has a restaurant there and we had managed to get a reservation.

Our Airbnb was walking distance to the restaurant and was situated right on the edge of a headland with views of the sea. Not too bad a way to spend a few days. There was not much else in Mollymook other than a few restaurants and the beach but we didn’t really need much else as we just enjoyed cooking and hanging out with Tim’s folks. I think we solved half of the world’s problems and the days seemed to fly by.

We managed to get another two 9 holes in at the Mollymook Golf Club. The club has two courses one a Championship course called Hillside which we played first and were pretty impressed and then a few days later on the other called Beachside. After playing Hillside we were a little taken aback when we were told it was a 9 hole par 3 course but needless to say the O’Keeffe competition still continued and Tim and I came away with another two wins. 😉.

The stay culminated in our lunch at Rick Steins and it did not disappoint. A great end to an awesome little stop over at Mollymook. S
