Upmarket Palermo

So second stop in Argentina and we decided to stay somewhere a little different to last time and stopped in Palermo which is just north of the centre and a really nice area.
Definitely the place to stay as while we felt San Telmo was cool it had a bit of an edge to it, whereas Palermo was all a bit more refined.
We had a lovely wander around the streets and the parks in the neighborhood. We even got some sneaky glimpses into the zoo by standing on the rails around its perimeter. So Sarah got to see giraffes, hippos and zebras for the first time, it was just like being in Africa ho ho ho.
It was nice to see another area of Buenos Aires, a nice enough city yet we felt that we would need to spend some serious time there in order to discover where to go and what to do. T

Beautiful avenues of houses in this suburb

Not a bad free view of the zoo!

13 lanes of traffic, we waited for the green man.
