Georgetown, Washington DC

Another sweltering day in Washington! So we decided to spend the morning hitting the Smithsonian National Museum of American History as we both needed a little brushing up on our history facts. Afterwards we sneakily caught the final few holes of the British Open golf and then we were off to Georgetown. Which seemed to have a little more character than the inner city though quite a upmarket area.

All in all Washington has been a little dull but just not sure if that is due to the heat and the fact that we are comparing it to New York. S

Eating dinner from the Wholefoods  supermarket in their outdoor seating while being serenaded to by a local playing jazz on the saxophone, cooling sounds to help us through the fact that it’s still sweltering at 9pm.
