Another one for the archives, our 2020 snow trip. This time to Whistler, Canada. We had scored some pretty good accomodation right in the centre of town which meant we could walk to and from the ski lift. From the moment we walked into Whistler village we loved it. The fact that the inner village is car free makes it so much more picturesque.
The boarding was amazing and we even snagged a few powder days which were awesome. The bowl skiing was truely epic, especially considering we didn’t know the mountain. Unfortunately like Japan we also got a little bit of rain. Whistler is surprising low altitude so once this happened you had to get up to the top third of the mountain to get the good snow.
Another awesome trip and little did we know that the world was about to change for ever due to COVID-19. S
